We look forward to welcoming you to our warm and friendly practice. We’ll send you the new patient paperwork, so you can complete it before coming in for your first appointment. You are also welcome to fill out the forms at your appointment instead—just come in about 30 minutes early to do that. Please bring your insurance card and identification with you.
Your First Visit
When you arrive, our front tech team member will greet you and make you feel welcome. We’ll spend some time listening as you describe your condition and health history, and we’ll ask questions to help determine how your problem impacts your life.
We will perform the following:
- A posture and movement assessment
- Orthopedic and neurological examinations
- Thermal scans and surface electromyography (sEMG) scans
The scans we take show how well messages are getting from your brain to your organs and muscles by way of your nervous system. If X-rays are needed, we will take digital spinal X-rays on-site.
Once we have all the information we need, we will explain what’s going on with your body, what the underlying cause is, how chiropractic care may help correct it, and what the costs will be. If you’re ready to begin care, you’ll receive your first adjustment at this visit.
